There was a graduation exhibition of Tokyo Uni of Art a week ago. this is graduation work of a studen from Architecture course. It reminded me of Stockholm somehow.
I think there’s no point to live in Tokyo where too many peole live, the trains are packed all the time and a lot of people are looking like back ground, if people are lazy. It’s same as living in a country side if we never go out than work. But if people can force themselves to be energetic to go here and there even after work, Tokyo is a totally super big city with too much things going on to check out, and I think that is the reason to live here. Stay tuned and stay busy if you have a chance to come here, too many temporary scenes to check out, like art exhibiton is always held all over the city and events and everyday everywhere if people try to catch those information!

The Salon Room is in Shin Marunouchi Bldg which is just a normal posh department store. When I went there to have a dinner with a friend of mine I found this white room just next to the lady room. It’s got 2 tables, chairs, a big sofa, and some magazines and is beautifully decorated as you see. and nothing more than that. I did not know what it was for but it seemed like just an open public space for nothing. Then I found this sign saying Salon Room. It took a few days to understand it was really, an open space for nothing but to rest for girls. I haven’t ever seen this kind of meaning less space but it is arty and I think I’m happy if I could rest after the hustle of shopping in the dept. store. I think I like this idea. Japanese people seems they never rest when they work but they probably rest randomly like this.

Only Japanese people can think of inventing ” Sparkling Chocolate ” flavored drink. None of my friends liked it but everybody says it smells like real chocolate. that doesn’t sound attractive faktiskt….
